A damp day, sunshine, then heavy rain - Murdoch had to be my blip today as I did not feel like wandering around outside.

Masterchef spoiler alert! I thought Ade would win, and his last meal was so professional and looked so delicious, that I felt he was a worthy winner. It inspired me to cook something different for Sunday lunch, and while my dish (chicken baked with leeks, bacon and a creamy sauce) was basic, simple and not in any way professional, I did use what I had in the fridge to create something, as the Masterchef contestants have had to do when given a 'box of ingredients'. I guess that is where the similarity ends! And I missed Strictly last night as we went to a 50th birthday dinner and did not record it.
