Welcome rain

A lovely soft rain today, just what we need for the garden. I decided to take Murdoch out to the woods as it was quite pleasant, but by the time we got there it was raining much harder. This pond usually provides lovely reflections but with the bleached out sky and the falling rain, the ripples in the water soon broke up the reflections.

So the busy week starts all over again. Thomas has football after school and then straight to club skiing (dry mats!) and then finally home to do his homework - probably a late night for him. Luke has completed his UCAS form and personal statement for his university application and that is in for checking by his teachers, so my nagging to get it done finally paid off. I was rather impressed with his personal statement which he wrote by himself without asking us for any input at all. They are so independent these days. And Adam is trying to cope with being tired, a mere 3 days into the new school term.
