Behind The Mask
My Uncle and aunt are over on holiday from Austalia so of course he wanted to see his big brother.
Dad wasn't on best form and I think it shocked them to see how badly he has gone downhill in the last 2 years since they saw him.
It doesn't matter how well you try and prepare someone ....... Dad just isn't the person he was. There is still a spark that gives the occational glimspe and when he smiles --- well, everyone smiles and laughs with him because that is when you see the real Dad again.
It must be torture to have a quick witted and intelegant mind trapped in a body that slowly shuts down with a brain that only occationally allows you to communicate in the most basic way with the outside world.
I thought the stree performers in todays blip - along with the rest of the series here illustrated it quite well
