The Offer

OK folks, it is in writing.

I have been saying for the past 4 years of a mature age apprenticeship that the cream floats to the top. We all know what sinks.

I spent the day fretting about it but the offer came through at 5pm.

To say I am estatic is an understatment.

Tomorrow is a public holiday in Brisbane. When I go back to work on Thursday I will have 3 weeks left.

What a relief to have a good job to go to.

Sorry, I had to blur the company name. I am not real keen on my current employer finding out where I am going to.
