Smoo Cave

Today we drove to Durness which is where the road going north up the west coast of Scotland hits the sea and is forced to turn right.

Smoo Cave is one of the big local attractions. Unfortunately the boat trips right into the cave weren't running as the boatman had to be at the dentist's but we saw enough to make calling in worthwhile.

Afterwards we drove through Strathmore along what must be the worst road in Britain. Not only has it grass growing up the middle but the grass needs a good cut.
