Q is for Quintrell Downs

Today we went to Quintrell Downs just outside of Newquay on the latest leg of our A - Z Tour of Cornwall.

We started off trying to get into The Quintrell Inn but they were having some renovations done and it didn't look too inviting, so we headed across the road to Table Table. The menu here had that much to choose from and it took us ages to pick what we were going to have. Finally Jules settled for the mixed grill (see picture) and i opted for the bacon & cheese chicken breast burger. Very filling!

Afterwards we headed down to Hollywell Bay where we managed to get £30 worth of free tokens for the rides. After getting lost on the maze, and Jules beating me on the go-karts, i managed to soak him on the battle boats. Being September, they closed at 3pm so we decided to head over to see Ross (one of Jules's best mates) and then popped into his mothers on the way back to say hello.

Now we are both back at home, knackered, trying to decide what we can do with our evening without using too much energy!
