Into the Light

The most beautiful light on the river this evening, although I have neither the equipment nor the skill to make the best of it.

Very pleasant after a day at work where we learned about 30% of headquarters jobs will be going due to continuing financial problems.....

We are still reeling from the last round of redundancies and in fact today was Sarah's last day. She was made redundant a few weeks ago and has been finishing off the projects she's been working on before bravely stepping out into the world after 12 years with us, with no firm plan except to get on a train and make her way to Istanbul and see what happens.... I'll miss her whilst she's away.
