Delinquents

Miss L has been a minx today.
She was excited about swimming this morning, chatting about going in the grown up pool. She dashed in from the car, happily got changed and trotted off to the poolside.
Halfway to the teachers she stopped dead, turned around and said she didn't want to go swimming.
No amount of reasoning, cajoling, bribing, threatening or handing her over kicking and screaming to the teacher could persuade her to dip so much as a toe in the pool.
Grrrrrrrr!!!!!
So annoying!
I got her changed without a word, said no when she asked were we going to the café, said no to sweets, no to TV when we got home. I told her to go and play while I washed up.
She was so distraught she just stood behind me stroking my back! It was all I could do not to cuddle her but I wanted her to know that it was a monumental waste of time and money and not something which is going to make Mummy happy.
Then after lunch, to cap the perfect day, she had her pre-school jabs!
Which hurt her arms and made her cry.
After school Miss E wanted to continue with the never-ending blackberry picking on the drive.
For some reason she put her hoodie on and hood up to do it.
Well you never know who might be lurking taking pictures!!
