Palo Verde

In front of my office window, I see sunrise through the shade of this tree. It is beautiful when covered with its yellow blossoms.

Each day in the spring I sweep up two or more wastebaskets of trash from our front patio. Through the summer it continues to litter our sidewalk. It fills the gutters and they require periodic cleaning.

This tree must go. It is on my endangered list. Soon it will be replaced by something more suitable and requiring lower maintenance.
