'Manchester Unity Building'
A few quick shots in town again today. This is the lovely Neo Gothic style Manchester Unity Building on the corner of Swanston and Collins streets. A really brilliant example of architecture and craftsmanship from its day.
The building construction started at midnight on January 1st 1932 and was totally completed 9 months later. Also interestingly his was the first building in Australia where a construction schedule was used to track and manage the progress of construction.
