Locked
DDW's September Challenge Day 11 : Door
There is a ruined castle and a couple of ruined crofts along the shore from Stromness at a place called Breckness. I had thought I would get a picture of Hoy (again) as seen looking through the door way of the castle, but it really didn't compose well, so I ploutered about the old farm buildings and took a heap of pics of dilapidated doors. There are some really nice textures in the old weathered wood. Then I stumbled across this old door lock and I liked the colours that have leached into the wood as the lock has rusted away to nothing. I knew this would be the blip for today when I saw it.
