The countdown begins.....
It was definitely a good day! I went to McDonalds on the way in as usual but I had an egg muffin to soak up my tea as I knew there would be no chance of a fried egg toastie today as I had target setting at 8am with my current manager. I'd sent the poor man an email before logging off work yesterday to remind John that he needed to get an early night to ensure he was in early this morning. I can't stand tardiness!
I have only been late twice in my life; once when I was born (I was two weeks late and weighed ten pounds) and the other time was when I was meeting two of my Edinburgh blip pals - Shev and DavzoBroon - for the first time! I hadn't allowed enough time to get from the Ocean Terminal to Morningside. Horrors! I still have nightmares about being late now!
Anyway, John and I had our target setting chat which I will forget all about for a few weeks now as after tomorrow I will be on annual leave for a fortnight, back to work for a week and then off to London for a week's training course. I'm not worrying about targets now! I am nearly demob happy!
As Nuzhat is on a diet, I had to get a chicken wrap and KitKat from Trolley Woman today as I knew there would be no lunchtime trip to McDonalds. I think I am safe telling you that, as Nuzhat doesn't often read my blips and may forget to kill me anyway by the time I return to the office.
We had a wander around the shops instead, picking up free Galaxy chocolate bars from a nice man giving away free samples in Touchwood Shopping Centre on the way back to the office. It was a hectic afternoon and I was delighted to escape at 3:15pm and got a lovely empty bus home which was a marvellous difference to Monday!
I completely forgot to get a picture while at work today but caught these two nice little fellows having a snack when I got home. Best viewed large.
Track? Well, this track chose itself today. Paul who sits next to me was having a very busy day and said this several times about the zoo-like office and his workload - All Or Nothing
