Leave your lights on...

Winter is definitely on its way! Working from home I'd resolved to make a real effort to go out when I'd logged off but my eyes felt so heavy I thought I'd have 40 winks which turned into 80. What with dinner, talking to mom and River City, the night soon trickled away.

I stood outside the front door staring up at the pitch black sky for a few minutes but there wasn't a star to be seen. I could see the woman who lives across the road staring at me while she drew the curtains. I waved hoping she'd think I was putting the cat out, even though I haven't got one.

I put the light on outside the porch door and managed to take a picture with the wind howling round me just as Rover Man from next door arrived back from somewhere. I scuttled back inside before he got out of his car and started asking questions!
