A Good Day's Work

Clare worked in Treliske A&E overnight so I spent my day off getting Samantha and Joshua off to school with packed lunches. A quick visit to the supermarket for the ingredients and home.
After a quick glance through the Telegraph I made lasagne for tonight's dinner, a cheese and mushroom quiche for Clare, a cheese quiche for Samantha and what has become the weekly 12 egg quiche Lorraine.
After a coffee I entered Joshua's bedroom at 12:00, this room belongs to a boy with way too many toys, gizmos and gadgets. One bin bag of rubbish, all the parts of his Lego Sopwith Camel collected for him to rebuild, his rugby kit collected into one holdall, books onto the tidied shelves and his Playmobil bagged and you could see the floor, which was then hoovered.
I woke Clare at 2:45 and as soon as the children arrived home Clare and I set off down town, vouchers for the 'Birthday Girls' and a quick coffee.
Elsewhere hotels booked for the graduation, (Plymouth), and the graduation ball, (St Ives). Train tickets yet to be booked, Clare + Samantha + Joshua to Plymouth and Joshua and I to Reading in October.
