Trip down memory lane..
I walked into Ladhar Bhienn today with Marley and laid Bob to rest in the corrie as promised. I got to thinking when I was up there in one of the remotest spots in Scotland, that it's a lonely spot to leave him, but it was just a box of ashes... It was the memory of him I left there. I'll be back someday, but it won't be with Marley's ashes - he's Erin's dog.. she can pick a spot when the time comes.
I had entertained the thought of climbing Ladhar Bhienn today, but the corrie was far enough. I'm not getting any younger, 15 Knoydart miles is enough for one day. And I got back to Kinloch Hourn before the cafe shut - pot of coffee and beans on toast, before that long drive out.
I arrived in Dog Falls car park in Glen Affric just before it got dark and settled down for another cosy night in the back of my car.
