A springtime memory...

This single clematis blooms at the top of its vine today. In the spring when the first blooms began, the Ravenous Slugs munched them and the lilies blooming near them (some UK nematodes were applied and must be working).
Now at the end of the growing season this lovely spring bloom has appeared to cheer me... and you?

Otherwise just holding on waiting for this incredibly horrible humid (95%) warm weather (30ºC) to pass. I just heard we might get a bit of the passing hurricane this weekend...
