Swanning about

As I cycled to work this morning I heard some almighty splashing and flapping going on underneath Dolphin Bridge.

I got off my bike and within seconds about seven swans came belting out from underneath, some flapping their wings, some doing that upside-down bum in the air thing and this one being a bit snooty and just floating.

One of them still had the brown plumage of a cygnet, although it looked very well developed; another had little flecks of brown in the feathers and the others looked fully grown.

Whatever their ages, it looked like they were having a rollicking good time.
