Salisbury Cathedral

My last port of call before heading home today was Salisbury. The Cathedral is of course magnificent. This is a shot of the font designed by William Pye and according to wiki installed in 2008.

In case its difficult to see the font is continually overflowing at each corner and the surface makes a wonderful reflective surface allowing glimpses of the cathedral above.

10 out of 10 for design and execution Mr Pye.

Ps Thank you for all the hearts and stars for yesterday. Now I'm home I can start looking through blips and replying. Yesterday broke my highest stars and favs. Pretty cool and thanks again!
