A strange day. Very positive in many ways, but wet early on, then cool and grey.

I had another difficult encounter with my mother's bank (see last Thursday's Blip). I tried another branch, and whilst the people there were at least helpful, the end result was 45 minutes in there without achieving what was required.

I have to find another piece of paper, and go back next week. I'm up to 4 hours spent just to get the bank to act on the power of attorney I have.

Maybe I'm the first person to ever try to do this... No, because the bank has a special department dealing with these things.

The wine was a present several years ago from someone special. The dust was gathering...
