I can sit up :-)

Back blipping.....

We went to Musical Babies today and met Louise and baby Rhys there. It was the first one back after the school hols and we'd really missed going. Eva seems to love going. Half way through we had a break and the children played in the box of musical instruments on the floor. I'd been sitting up with Eva for a while on and off, but today, she actually sat there unaided and well balanced for a good few minutes. I stayed right behind her just in case mind.

After Musical Babies, we went into the sensory nest at the children's centre, and I put Eva into this little tunnel thing with little sparkly lights all around her and a mirror at one end, she was mesmerised. She then lay on her back and loved looking up at the laser lights going across the ceiling. It is such a lovely, relaxing room.

From there we went to my mom and Peter's. Today's pic is of her sitting up on her own on the throw my mom keeps for her there so she can play down on the floor. Peter (grandad) dug out some of David and Christopher's old bath toys and a Tetley tea bag for her to rustle and a bowl and bottle to make a drum out of. We ended up bringing some of the bath toys home, a penguin, a tap that sucks to the side of the bath, and what Christopher used to call his humper lol.
