Hackneyed castle shot.

Sorry I'm sure it is a bit of a cop out posting a photo of the castle.

I was in Sound Control this afternoon buying some new strings for my Tele today since they are doing a free guitar tool with two packs of Elixir strings (I'm a sucker for a special offer I normally use Ernie Balls, but there was a freebie involved) and I had intended to post a picture of all the lovely guitars in the fender section, but this was just a much better photo.

still at least my afternoon was better than my morning, had to be at the doctors at half eight to get a needle shoved in my arm for a blood sample, then I had to drink a glucose drink which consisted of glucose powder with water added until it reached the consistency of wallpaper paste. After this I had to sit in the doctors until 10.45 so they could take a second sample to see how my body processed the glucose without any excercise to burn it off.

The upside is that when I get back from holiday I'll find out if I have diabetes or not (I suspect not from talking to another blipper about the issue). The downside is that I have two needle marks with large bruises around them so I will look dodgy as hell if I bare my arms on holiday.
