The Pier at Aberystwyth
After having a late start & meeting the resident chickens we decided on a whistle stop tour of the coastal villages and towns near to us. We started in Aberaeron which is pretty little place though dogged by heavy traffic. We then visited Aberystwyth which is quite a town with lots to see. After a hobble along the prom in the bright sunshine we visited the pier where this is taken. The pier itself is little more than a snooker club stretching out to sea but, fight your way through the baize and the bars & the view is worthwhile.
The historic town has its own university, castle, funicular railway & camera obscura.
After a rum & raisin ice cream we made our way back to the pad.
