MWNT Parish Church
This is one of those beautiful locations that you find from time to time dotted around our coasts. This was formerly a chapel of ease for sailors, now a simple parish church on NT land serving a very small community.
Following another late start we decide to head South. There was a castle I wanted to visit at Cilgerran so after exploring this we headed into Cardigan. From Cardigan we visited Mwnt which also has one of the best unspoilt beaches I have ever seen. There are steep steps down to it so I didn't venture down but the tide was out & there were very few people walking on the virgin sand...what a place !
From Mwnt we headed to Tresaith which again has a beautiful quiet beach beach
& spectacular views. Unusually this beach has a waterfall crashing down from the cliffs & is really quite unique. From there we went onto Llangrannog where we had fish & chips for supper.
Remarkably we didn't get lost going back to the house.
Another fabulously warm day !
