We love this place

Bonnieux is one of the hilltop villages in the Luberon. We have been coming here for many years now and always to the same house in the same village and we never tire of it. Perched high up above forests, olive groves and vineyards, the houses seem to cling to the sides of the hill. The village therefore straddles several levels, joined with narrow winding streets and lots and lots of steps. Our house is almost at the top, close to the old church you can see here. Navigating in a car to the top, especially on a Saturday when the place teems with visitors, is very tricky. But here we are. Back in the same place and settled for two weeks.
