Jimmy Spice
This evening, my parents, Graham and I had our evening meal at Jimmy Spices in Sutton Coldfield. For those of you who have never had the pleasure, Jimmy Spices is an innovative idea that celebrates the diversity of cuisines from all over the globe. With live kitchens, the immense variety and a buzzing atmosphere, it's definitely the place to be!
From our table we were able to watch the hard-working chefs - creating food to order: from hand thrown pizza, to stir-fry and kebabs. That in itself is pleasurable enough, but with a range of Italian, Chinese, Indian and other European dishes to select from (going up as many times as you like) you will understand that we have come back feeling well fed, if not a little over-stuffed!
I had to crack on with work this morning, as we have plans to visit Ross on Wye on Sunday. However, it's been lovely this afternoon to relax and catch up with my folks; mum and dad got a chance to check out our wedding photos and we all drooled over mum and dad's forthcoming trip to the States. [Eric is well miffed that they don't have room for him in their suitcase!]
Oh and in case you were worried - the ceiling is still intact and the leak is to be mended by our trusty builder Tom in the morning! I am also looking forward to having some photography tips from Bro-in law Andrew and New Bezzie Emma (who are both seasoned blippers) tomorrow. So watch this space!
