September afternoon

We went off to the garden centre to get some plants to put in a small new bed, just so as there is something to look at over the winter, before more permanent planting can take place. And we enjoyed a coffee outside in the walled garden there, sitting in the warm sunshine.
With the forecast not good for the next few days, I had a busy time planting out this afternoon, and happened to notice how this dogwood is changing colour - and a little primrose is out - perhaps it is a little confused !
