Comme Ken?

Now one of our lovely children got a Ken doll for her birthday, and instantly everyone noticed a striking resemblance to Thom…and here is the proof! What do you think, a good enough match? The girl tried to get the top right as well, unfortunately there is not a colour as royal and as bright as the colour blue of our uniforms. Shame really!

Our final Carisma’s got Talent, our final hot dog party today, with some great acts from jokes, gymnastics, football, singing, drawing…with a great audience and a very talented set of children. The finally song that Thom and I sang was ‘Finally’, by The Frames…it seemed apt someone. Admittedly you have to imagine it with a female singer, taken up a few keys so I can actually sing it.

We decided that we would try and get the demontages out of the way , as some of our families had left early to get back in time for their children’s going back to school, so we didn’t have to do as many on my birthday. It is always a bit of a nightmare doing a customer clean, but doing a demontage is even more of a nightmare. So a demontage is setting the van up for hibernation for the winter, so as well as the usual checks and cleans, you also have to scrub all the walls and take off and clean all the lampshades and shelves. So if it is bad, or if you want it to get done properly…then it will take longer than a normal clean. Having to do many montages at the beginning of my work for Carisma, I know the difference between when one has been done well, and one done badly…and we wanted to leave them in the best possible state for next year.
