Pansy Glade

From yesterday's dizzying heights of flying, back to earth literally, with the power of flowers. This year for the first time I bought a winter hanging basket of pansies and variegated foliage to decorate an unheated conservatory. It almost came to grief in yesterday’s heat, but I rescued it with a cold shower just in time!

It is a perfect foil for experimental photography. Today's blip shows the application of polar co-ordinates distortion - polar to rectangular. I love the linear effect and the symmetry created by this manipulation - lovely in large. Outside the rain lashes and the wind howls. I'm glad I have my indoor plants for inspiration!
