Are you looking at me?

A good day of rugby yesterday for the boys, both their teams won. Luke's 1st XV won by 44-5, which was quite a result. Thomas's U14 skiing team was not expected to do that well as they have lost many members who have moved on to new schools - they came 3rd in the qualifiers and will not be going forward to the finals in Stoke next month. Whew, I did not feel like spending a weekend in Stoke hanging around a dry ski slope! Their U11 team won and will be going forward to the finals.

Today we woke to sunshine but it soon got windy and grey. Thomas has club rugby every Sunday. Now that he is age 12, he comes under the youth section of the club and they practice from 12 -2pm - such a daft time as it clashes with lunch. Luckily the club is really close to our house so he cycled there while I could get on with cooking lunch - I went over to watch him but they were on a 'drinks break', so I wandered off and took some photos of the horses in the nearby field instead.

Then back home to a late lunch of Thai green curry and some really delicious raspberries and strawberries for pudding.
