Amphitheatre Trier

Today I finally got to see the amphitheatre in Trier. We went here a couple of years ago but then it was closed...

There is not much left of the amphitheatre because the people of Trier used a lot of the stones and bricks for building after the amphitheatre came out of use.

After the amphitheatre we had a fancy lunch at Weingut Beckers (really: go there some time if you have the opportunity) and tasted several wines to take home. Great fun. Then we went up to a lookout point where we could see the whole city.
