Burg Eltz

Before we went on our holiday, one of my colleagues told me that if we were in the neghbourhood we should visit Burg Eltz.

Since Bollendorf was more 'in the neighbourhood' than it would be when we were back home we though about going for a bit and on thursday we actually stepped in that car and went. 150 km in almost 2 hours...

But yay! it was a wonderful castle. According to the travel booklets it's the most fairytale like real castle there is. It's true.

Since we had come this far we went on to Koblenz to see the Moselle River joining the Rhine and see a bit of Koblenz. Not very much because we had to drive all the way back...

On the way back we took the roads along the Moselle River and stopped a couple of times to enjoy the view.
