Medals

Carys was awarded the triathlon medal for her escapades yesterday. It is a great solid medal to be proud of and she is. However, this caused some issues with a small boy who wanted one of his own. I promised that the next medal I won would be his and so he was awarded the light weight, not so great medal next to it this morning and was pleased with himself!

The 10k itself was undulating hilly and being the original track fairy, hills are not my friend! The last mile and three quarters was also run into a wicked head wind, so the time was nothing to write home about. But it is a start and better than the last race I did (a year ago)!

After a swift shower we headed to Offley to celebrate Nanna's birthday with a lovely lunch. Kids were too stuffed to eat tea!
