Spiders

Busy day today, Carys and I cycled to a party (post 4mile run which hurt after yesterdays circuits) whilst 'boys club' went off to the gym and then took N&P to the airport to head of on holiday (Happy Birthday Nanna)!

After that Carys and I headed out in search of bird seed whilst 'boys club' had lunch. Play and work in the garden, lots of spiders to be found. Brown bin full, which is a bit of a pain as the garden is still in much need of sorting. Tip run and swing ball, raised beds sorted.

We have changed bedtime after all the shinanigans of the last two weeks. Carys has been told the slate has been wiped clean and as she is a big Year 1 she can stay up until 18.45 on a school night and later on Friday and Saturday. She watched Strictly with me tonight, which she really enjoyed (particularly as she realised one of the judges writes her favourite books, Darcey Bussell) and that is her treat from now on in. Was lovely to sit with my big girl, under a blanket and snuggle watching one of my favourite programmes, lovely reconnect time. Worked tonight she went straight to sleep after with no hassle. Fingers crossed it continues.
