Preserving

Up early and I knew the storm was due so headed out with Juno to my plot.

Noone else around so I weeded and put leaf mould on the plot and covered with plastic for the winter.

Back home to a sleepy house, I started the prep work for a preserving session.

As the weather got worse, I had apple and cinamon boiling, green tomato chutney bubbling and another bathc weighted and prepared.

Jelly bag dripping, green tomato chutney jarred and we headed out for a wee shop.

Back home, tea and next batch of chutney on. Plums frozen and blip catch up.
