Chip spice..

A lovely long walk with Noodle this morning was just the tonic I needed, I think. Fresh air promotes a clear head.
There was lots of activity with me, washing, cleaning & so on, before I collected Ferguson.
We then had a lovely afternoon & evening & I had a nice sense of calm with myself. Ferguson had some oven chips for his tea & it amused me that he asked for chip spice on them & even pointed out where I'd missed sprinkling a chip!
We watched "Lilo & Stitch" & then had an easy bedtime before I got on with some work until midnight.
An awkward snipey text exchange occurred between Alex & I (presumably when he got back from the football), over my "lack of contact". It was like I was, all of a sudden, in a relationship of 2 teenagers rather than 2 busy (& understanding?!) adults.
I have left like "a bit on side" this week, given the timings & hurried nature of his contact, and I decided to tell him about the postcard that I sent as a surprise (that obviously didn't ever arrive). I wanted to prove that given I'm the one left behind, & he has had the Hull social week, I do still think about him & respect his plans, by not constantly badgering him.
I went to bed slightly upset with the whole situation.
