I slept so well last night and managed to have a lie in too. Love Sundays!
I had a chilled out breakfast with the family. Baguette and croissants. NOM! I then used the morning to catch up on blips and prepare for proper classes starting tomorrow.
In the afternoon I then headed to an ‘American fair’ in the park across the road from ours with my two little cousins. A number of Harley Davidson and other big motorbikes were heavily roaring outside the park. Once inside, there were lots of little stalls to be found selling cowboy boots, hats, and dream catchers and each playing country music, making it a pleasant atmosphere.
Walking through the park made me realise that seasons are changing. Leaves have begun forming an orange carpet on the ground, and trees are slowly starting to look a bit pale. But according to my youngest cousin that’s a good thing, because the sooner autumn is over, the sooner it’s her birthday. She’s such a little lady.
I went to church at the International Christian Community in the evening. It was a very international and friendly community. Though it’s not quite like Elim at home, I felt very welcomed and already met some great people there, and I really think I could really get settled there over the next few weeks.
Skyped a friend in the evening still, and now need sleep, full day at uni tomorrow.
