Emerald Princess berthed at Greenock

Massive ship that has something like 900 balcony cabins, various swimming pools and restaurants.3000 passengers or so. Headed off so slowly to Belfast, after which off to Iceland, Greenland, Canada and the Big Apple. The town of Greenock was swarming with crew and passengers who didn't fancy the various trips the ship will have been selling. I was not aware of anything special being done to make the visit special. Maybe there was a bagpipe band at 8 in the morning when it arrived. I hope there was one to play them away in the evening. No traders along the shore walkway though. An opportunity missed I think. Wished I was on it...
