Chattanooga

Sorry, no shot of the 'choo choo' for Booky.

Chattanooga was intended as a stop over sort of place on our trip on the way to Nashville; we have been pleasantly surprised.
It was in the high 90 degrees late this afternoon, yet there were people jogging and power walking to and fro across the Tennessee River.
The South side is home to a modern art gallery and sculpture park, whilst the north has quirky little independent shops and bars. We spent a very relaxed couple of hours in Brewhaus escaping the humidity (B was very pleased to sample a local ale).

I went in my first ever Walmart, bewilderingly enormous.

New things today:
Being asked for ID in a bar at the age of 42.
Making our own waffles at the motel breakfast.
What looks like strawberry jelly and cream next to the potato salad?
Ordering a sweet potato (baked) and it arriving covered in sugar and cinnamon (not a fan of that).
