Our fabulous Mid-Level Escalators

I've been meaning to get to these for ages and finally got to take a picture to share with you all!!

When we first came to HK, I found these really fun and exciting and ever so convenient. These escalators are located in Central and go up from Queen's Road to Hollywood Road crossing over three roads beneath it.

First thing in the morning, they only operate downwards, but once everyone's safely tucked away at work, they operate upwards making the climb up three streets much easier.

It's a huge tourist attraction and is the world's longest outdoor escalator (so I read when we arrived here). There are no steps, it's just a long 'travelator' like you get in airports except a bit inclined. Really very convenient!! A must do on any visit as it takes you to a very fun, vibrant, interesting part of HK.

So glad I got to go after ages and blip it!
