Pedn-men-du

Well today the weather forecast said rain but apart from an hour or so this morning today has been beautiful.

This afternoon when Ann came home from work she said, 'Molly lets go to the Penzance Tesco's for a change because the St Ives Tesco's is rubbish and then we'll go for a walk at Lands End.'

It was very busy at 'Lands End'. Why anybody would want to visit such a tacky, commercialised place we don't know. We just parked there because we've got a free locals parking pass and then walked along the coastal path to Sennen Cove. And blipped me at Pedn-men-du on the way.

Although it was a beautiful day it was very, very windy. Ann could hardly stand up in places. She said, 'Mollycollie, it's OK for you. You've got four legs and are a lot nearer the ground so you don't run the risk of getting blown over.' Well, my answer to that is; Ann hasn't got ears that blow around in the wind like mine!!!!

Anyway while Ann was explaining to me why I wouldn't get blown over and she would, we didn't realise that a lady with another collie was right behind us.

The lady said, 'Do you always explain things to your dog?'

Ann said, 'Yes, I talk to her all the time. Molly's got a really wide vocabulary'.

The lady just looked at Ann as if she was mad and walked off.

....................Is it really that weird that Ann talks to me all the time?????

Or perhaps Ann just talks a lot full stop!!!

Today her boss at STAR told her to buy a balaclava and wear it back to front. Just how insulting is that??!! ............But he's also given her a pay rise for all her hard work this summer. Yay .................... that means she'll be able to afford to buy me lots more treats!!!!!
