It was 20 years ago today...

Ok, so not quite, but 'it was 9 years, 105 days ago today' doesn't scan so well.

Anyway, this is the room where, 9 years (etc) ago I became Mr B's Mrs. It's the Orangery in Holland Park, London, a park which also has a fun adventure playground (the key reason for today's visit - it wasn't just a trip down memory lane).

Getting married in a public park in a glass building on a sunny bank holiday weekend is probably not to be recommended unless you want a bunch of scallies staring in at you. Luckily we had some large scary looking friends to send to keep the hordes away and reassure them that there were no celebs in the room and really nothing worth seeing!

There was a more genteel crowd around today. Until we showed up.

Actually everything 9 years (etc) ago was very genteel until the piper showed up (closely followed by the police and their handy decibel meter.... )
