Muttley's Musings

Tree and Fleetwith Pike

(Back Blip) The weather forecast was not promising for today, but we decided to head out anyway. We went along the Newlands Pass to Buttermere. I'm not sure how much of the scenery my Mum saw along that part of the journey. We had a walk through some lovely Oak woods to the shore of Crummock Water, and then back into Buttermere village, before walking over to the shore of Buttermere. It eventually started to rain, so we retreated to the village and had a lovely lunch in the farm tea room. We then headed for home via the Honister Pass and Borrowdale

This is a view of a tree at the end of Buttermere looking towards Honister Pass and Fleetwith Pike.
