The Avenue, Chillington

I am a diligent checker of weather forecasts. Today was forecast to be mainly cloudy, but as I looked through the office window at lunchtime it was predominantly sunny with pleasing white clouds.

I gifted myself a few minutes out of the office and headed upp to Chillington Hall. On this occasion I turned my back on the hall and looked down the Avenue to the north east. The estate's herd of longhorn cattle were enjoying the sunshine, although as you see they were, in the main, lying down.

In less than 15 minutes it was raining. I know who gives the more accurate weather forecasts!
