A good catch
It was forecast to be very wet today, and the weather men didn't get it wrong, but it was fine this morning so I took Alison to have a look round the Marina. We walked to the far end where all the fishing boats are moored, and it looked like they'd all had a good catch. I like all the colours of the flags and the boats and though it made a nice bright blip for an otherwise grey day.
Then we went to David Lloyd for a spa day - we did an aqua gym class and then relaxed in the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi before having a nice lunch in the restaurant overlooking the beach. After we'd finished, we had a look round the shops at the Marina but we didn't stay out for long as the rain was very heavy, so we're back home and have just had a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows.
I've now got to try and finish my French homework ready for tonight's lesson - I was planning on skipping it tonight with Alison being here, and I'm supposed to have read a full chapter of Maigret (in French) and then written about it, but I've struggled with the reading, so haven't done it. However, we were sat in the sauna and Muriel, my French teacher came in and sat down - I didn't recognise her at first as I've only seen her twice and both times she was fully dressed lol! Anyway, now I guess I have to go - the only problem is, I doubt I'm going to get it all done in the next couple of hours!
