Ruins

I went over to Coventry today to register with yet another recruitment agency. I went a little earlier so that I could have a look round the old Cathedral and find a blip. It was bombed during the Coventry Blitz on 14 November 1940 and since then the ruins have become a symbol of reconciliation and forgiveness. A new Cathedral was built alongside it in the late 1950s. I love the ruins of the old Cathedral. It is a fascinating and poignant building.

Singing starts again tonight so I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and having a good old warble.
