Figure of 8 knot

Work dragged today but not surprising, as there is only 4 days left before the holiday.
Came home and spent the night getting all the electrical stuff sorted for holiday along with the Netbook.
Remembered when I go into bed that I needed a photos so this is a quick blip for this weeks theme of KNOT, in case nothing else happens this week.

This is my climbing rope with a figure of 8 knot in it. A very simple knot to tie but one that I trust my life to most weeks. One of the main advantages is that is very easy to see if you have tied it wrongly.
Its name comes unsurprisingly from the fact that it looks like a figure 8.
