Room with a View

3000 feet above the Colorado River, on the northern rim of the Grand Canyon, the rest room at Toroweap Overlook commands a breathtaking view over Lava Falls, one of the rivers most challenging rapids. The journey there along 60 miles of dirt road requires a suitable vehicle and an experienced driver. Fortunately we had both.
I found it immensely difficult to portray the scale of the Canyon in a single photograph so settled for this unique feature of Toroweap. I will put up others in Blipfolio when I return to the UK.
