An unexpected tree

The thing about Waltons' streets is the trees. I think it's thanks to the Victorians. Theres' lots of magnificent old oaks and chestnuts which sadly we're losing one by one. Every here and there theres' something more unusual plonked in a garden or roadside, and I spotted this one in the churchyard this morning just on my way back from yoga. It's an Indian Bean tree Catalpa Bigonioides. Probably not that old- they take 20-50 years to reach their maximum 12metres high by 8 metres wide, and this has to be close. So be warned if you plonk one in your garden!
