Meadow Brown Butterfly excuse.

I think it likely that we shall only see a few more butterflies in our garden this year. This thought reminded me of my blip last month when I completely misidentified a butterfly that I know very well. It was fellow blipper gen2 who pointed out the error of my ways.

I was mortified because I have actually studied the butterfly in question and recently came across a book by Prof. W.H. Dowdeswell which I purchased on 27 November 1981. I think I shall be reading it again during the winter!
