I love these. The spent flower stalks pull themselves into a coil, with the growing seed head tucked in the middle. The seed head is wonderful too -the size of a small marble, with a beautiful calyx, filled with round seeds, all of which try and germinate. A single mottled leaf the size of my little finger nail lifts its head above the ground -usually in an impossible crack! Baby plants again!
